I like that idea. Are there bolt on's for crossbows?

I like that idea. Are there bolt on's for crossbows? It is not designed to be bolted to the crossbow, it is an aid to shooting free hand. Ghost

Yes, I understand that. I am referring to a different attachment....like the bi-pods that go on target/sniper rifles.

Stoney Point also puts out a series of shooting sticks that have a quick disconnect adapter that mounts to the sling stud. I have read good reviews over on the Excal forum and I see one in my future. I usually use a regular monopod but the crossbow has a tendency to slide in the yoke of the shooting stick. Here is a link: www.stoneypoint.com/cat_monopods.htmlBob

Definitely cool but problematic in a metal mesh tree of ladder stand.

Definitely cool but problematic in a metal mesh tree of ladder stand. I'm going to experiment using a small narrow board clamped to the climber bar of my stand using small c-clamps. I can rest the feet of the bipod on the board. That bipod does not extend long enough to touch the ground when seated upright in a chair.

Does the part attached to the bow swivel? If not suing a board may restrict lateral function. I've used several pods that I made or purchased, all restricted movement, were not quickly adjustable or were less portable than I had hoped. Why I reported on Horton's pod favorably.
