Nope, I would be running the other way, LOL! Seriously, no shot because there is too much in the way and, if I was standing where the picture was taken from, a very severe up angled shot.

Shot one in a tree years ago (rifle) and had a heck of a time getting it down as it died instantly!

I don't know if it's legal to shoot a Black Bear in a tree in NY. Just checked, and I don't see any restriction...just from their den. I would have to say that even if there weren't any problems with houses, or anything else behind the target, there still is enough branches over the vitals to deflect the shot...no shot.  |

20 yard shot...heck yeah! I think we could all make that shot fairly easily. Even though we have plenty of bears, we have no season here in Florida. If we did, I'd pull the trigger on this one in a heartbeat.  |
