It is totally oil based so it will definetly stand up to rain.

I received my bottle of Butternut today. I can't wait to see the pictures that you get on your cams buckshot. I think that one of the things that excites me the most about it is that the deer won't be "burned out" and educated on it.

That is to say that they always leave a treat behind. Once a deer associates a smell with no reward....that deer will never respond again to that smell

I will post what I get good or bad (not sure how well these cams work being the first time I used them)

No, they are from my 4mp camera and I hope the pics from my trail cam are as good because the trail cam is a 5mp camera. So I will have to wait and see on Sunday if I have any pics. One thing I do like is I have a Kodak easyshare camera and it takes SD cards and a 2.2" HI-Res. screen so I use it as a card reader in the field, no waiting to get home to check the pics
