Just wanted to show off the current bow i am shooting (or rather, will be again when i get home from Iraq). Its a hybrid longbow, made by Shane Hyme of Fairfield Outdoors, in Lancaster, Ohio. I dont have an unstrung picture, but if I can get one, i will post it. The limbs have a pretty radical curve to them when its unstrung. This bow is by far one of the best I have ever shot, and I have definitely shot a lot of them. In my opinion, way underpriced for the quality and performance. Pic 1- Side view of riser. Bow by Shane Hyme, arrows by me Pic 2- Better riser pic, from when Shane finished the bow Pic 3- Put Diamondback skins on the limbs while home on leave from Iraq..sorry its not a much better picture

Awesome combination, both arrows and bow look very well made. Are you anywhere near 1st.Cav and camp Cuervo in Baghdad? I hear they have a pretty nice archery setup there...Thank you for your service and looking for your safe return...Steve.

No, im not anywhere near there. I know FOB Warhorse is supposed to have a good setup too, but again, im nowhere near there. A new unit just took over the FOB where I am, so maybe I can go talk to the new Sergeant Major, and see what he says.

I just happened to have opened this thread again and again the shelf of your bow caught my eye. I definitely like that shelf (and the bow) and voodoo is right (obviously) in saying the arrows are sweet It's a good thing that I am not rich or I'd have too many bows like this one in my house

I know what you mean BT.... The bowyer (Shane Hyme) is currently working on a couplr of new designs.. A takedown longbow, and a takedown recurve. My wife and I should be getting numbers 1 and 2 of the takedown recurve, after his prototype is done. I cant wait
