I'd have to agree with BT...Spitfires. If you prefer a fixed blade then you still want a NAP product...Nightmares.

I glue my nocks in with Loctite super glue gel in the blue package that you can pick up in the local Walmart or Home Depot. I prep the inside of the shaft by running a wire brush in and out of the shaft to rough it up for better nock adhesion. The brush that I use is a gun cleaning brush. I think that it is a .30 cal, or thereabouts. Bob I was hoping they didn't need to be glued that way if I needed to refletch I could put a regular nock in for my jig. Guess Ill have to use a eraser cut a v in it and slip over the flat nock and back on topic I prefer the mech heads I realy like my broad heads hitting identical to my field points. The Crimson Cudas fly great I have takin a few deer with them with no problems but there probably better choices out there. Joe

Joe,
I saw this on another forum. I have never tried it:
"For those of us that don't want to glue our nocks in the shafts, to make it easier to remove them for refletching, try this. Get a plastic bag, the type they use at grocery store, the marts and most other places these days. Then place the bag over the protion of the nock that goes into the shaft and press the shaft down on the assembly. Trim the excess bag material from around the nock, and you're done."

I use hot melt only for alum nocks so I can change them easily when they get dinged.
I don't care for mechanical bheads, some of the places I've checked out for hog hunting in Tx and Ok won't allow them.
I've been happy w/ Slicks, since I have the same brass insert Gt's, I use the 100 gr 1 18" cut.
I did learn a lesson the hard way on Slicks. Most of the time there is little to no run out, aka 'wobble' when you spin them. i found some w/ .012-.015" run out and they flew like crap.
To remove the wobble, you spin the little washer and retighten-recheck. Makes no sense but does work and can be frustrating sometimes.
