OK, Now that I have your attention... what's been going on in your neck of the woods?....BT, How's the tummy?
Well, I'm waiting for more materials so I can get fired back up building some more bows, in the meantime we've been cleaning up,and fixing some "honeydo" projects that I've put off for way too long, Built a riding lawnmower yesterday from scrounged parts, works great too!, fixed the wife's car too,... I hope, as well as managed to fix my hunting truck finally, changed 7 sets of front wheel bearings over the winter due to spun spindles, changed them and now it's fine, new and bigger tires too, also been working on a few guitars, 2 Ibanez hollowbody electrics done, a early 60's Candy red Kay re-issue es-335 in the process, and an early Les Paul copy in waiting, wish I could play them as well as I fix them,lol,lol.............What's been going on with you??

I expected a picture of two owls... The left one looks bigger than the right one, but I guess that happens in nature. I guess I've been working way to much, and not doing anything that I'd like to do. So I guess I don't have much to report... I have 4 bows waiting for me to go finish them, and an old Martin HD-35 that crys softly in the corner waiting for me to come play it again! I am supposed to go shoot a bit today, if the weather permits, and check out those Aerovane II fletching with the 101. I finally found some clear billets of osage long enough to actually use - and want to get another osage bow build... Hopefully, this time, with good bamboo! Trees are budding and early flowers are blooming around the house, starting to look like spring!

The body's on the mend some kinda fast voodoo...thanks for asking I just came in from shooting the bow, walking slooowly through the woods trails as I did so. Had to get on my knee every time I had to pull the arrow, use my shoulder to brace, keep my forearms across my chest and then pivot away on my toes to get t done....but I am doing it ;D I took the lighter 62# Black Swan out with me which doesn't drive the arrow nearly as deep as the Mamba and is very easy to pull as well. I'd love to shoot with the Swan more but it's gonna be relegated to a target bow I'm afraid

It will be a few more months before I have to worry about the lawnmower. Still in the snow blower phase here.

I've been playing around with my new Grizzly. I think the compounds are getting jealous. It's an absolute joy to shoot.

Pic is dark, sorry about that.
