Actually I do like it. I don't know how it would be for hunting, stalking I mean not sitting somewhere, seems like the arrows might be able to flop around and make some noise... Yet, if the tips are in foam and the feathers have the protection bag pulled over them, it might work out very nice for hunting.
In general, as a quiver for range use, I think it might pretty nice! I have been playing with back quivers for a while now and am not sure that I really like them. The standard hip quiver is not my favorite either... Flops around to much. So, either I should invest in a more stable hip quiver, or try one of these! I've not read any bad reviews about this type of quiver, but then, I've not seen one yet to pick apart and don't know anyone who uses one! Still, I am leaning towards giving one a try myself.
I am curious to see how well it stays in place. If it always rides to the front, I don't think I'd like it. Rather like a backquiver that always drops way down on your back to where you can't grab an arrow without hiking it back up. This one, my concern is that it rides down and sticks out all day like an overdose of viagra. Also how well it stays in place over rougher country. It might flop a bit and snag in brush??? However, I am thinking that you could pull it up on your back more like a backquiver for rough stuff, then drop it down for stalking... Kind of the solution to a backquiver that wanders around, without the slap-your-leg that you'd get from a hip quiver... Could be good!
