Well it was a good day today. Started off real warm but cooled off pretty quick once the clouds moved in. Just ask the short sleeved Nerdhick, lol! We had a big group so we split up. I shot with HTH, Nerdhick and Cliffy. It was a pretty cool course. The first half was a bit short. Lots of realistic shooting situations and up and down walking and shooting. Cliffy shot his best outdoor score with a 235 and HTH and Nerdick were neck and neck in the 260's. Me, you ask? Well I had a fairly good day and headed to the clubhouse with a 290! The guys did give me 2 charity Fatboy 10's that were juuuuuuuusssssssst hitting the line. Really could've gone either way but they hooked me up. Was a real fun day. I'm sure Tedicast will chime in with how his group did. Here are a few pics. Nerdick after whacking a woodland creature. HTH taking aim on a boar Nerdick demonstrating his follow through Cliffy getting ready to piss off a Grizzly bear HTH shooting a mountain Lion Nerdhick shooting the same Lion Nerdhick and Cliffy goofing around.

Nick Shot a 247 but seeing as how he could have tossed his arrows into the 10's....I am not giving him anything David and I feel apart I dropped 40 pts. off my score with a 217 I found what I was doing once I got home but that dint help me as I stunk up the course with John&Jen David was easy to fix but unfortunately for him it also didn't happen till we got home David says that If I put his score on the site he will never shoot a bow again ;D I really felt bad for him as he was so mad at himself for shooting so poorly that he was ready to just give up for good. I liked the course alot....it was perfect for a traditional shooter or a modern shooter I plan on making the next one there this summer

Nick only shot a 247? The way he was hitting 10's I thought for sure he was up in the 270's.
I scored a 248, which is my norm. Jen shot a 191, which was very good for her second shoot, and from the hunter stake. It was a very fun course. A few tricky shots. All in all it was a great day. Except that the kitchen ran out of food!!!! They said with 190 shooters they were wiped out of food. I got the last 2 hotdogs they had, and had to have them on hamburg roles. Have to get an earlier start next time so we don't miss out on the food. All the deserts, except for the cupcakes were even gone!!!!
I'll have pictures up in a little while.

Through the fletch? That's a goose egg. I believe the only way that would score is if it was a robinhood.

OK, actually it's up to the group. Here's how the IBO rule reads:
An arrow that hits another arrow – with the arrow being struck showing visible damage - that does not stick in the target shall be given the score of the arrow that was struck. The majority of the group must agree that: 1) a particular arrow was struck, and 2) that striking the arrow prevented the arrow from sticking in the target, or the arrow shall be scored as a miss.

I just got back from shooting Algonquin. They had the scores posted for Sundays shoot. Well, two of our group won their class!!! Guess who??? If you guess Jen and Nick...you guessed right. Jen was the top woman in her division. She is pretty excited. Nick won the cub compound with his score listed at 241. congrats Nick!!! Scott's 290 earned him 2nd place in our class. Top score was a 294. Virg was 4th, and John was 5th. My 248 got me a 13th.
