Couldn't agree more about the WB!! Best thing since sliced bread IMO. And I've tried MANY rests out there. In fact, I shot for GKF for years. They knew of my like of the WB for hunting and still sponsored me. I'll add a couple of rest reviews soon as well. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the products I will review will even be available much longer. GKF is having some problems (management) that may seal the fate of a long and major player in the industry. I hope not but it's not looking good.

I just heard another account yesterday of a QAD Ultra-rest failing in the cold. The guy had it on since last spring and never had a problem. The other day he was shooting in the morning with no problems. he hung his bow up outside and took a break for a while. he came out a few hours later and the rest wasn't falling all the way. It was just under 20 degrees.

I just heard another account yesterday of a QAD Ultra-rest failing in the cold. Supposedly it is fixed this year with some different gaskets/springs. Common advice is to stick it in the freezer for a couple hours then shoot it. If it works, you are golden. if not return it and QAD will send you another one no questions asked.

Got a better solution- buy something different!! Except that the QAD is the only drop away that lets you let down. A HUGE deal with stalking turkeys.

QAD Ultra-Rest YOU SOLD ME SKIPMASTER! Put one on the newer BK today and shot for three hours. Wasn't what I was wishing for when I tried to use it as an inertia rest but when I set it up the way it was intended to be used....it rocked! Excellent product on first impression and I am very happy with the purchase

I've shot the QAD ultra rest this whole season. Love it. Took 8 deer with it this year. Not sure about the under 20 degree weather problem, can't say I sat on stand colder than that. Only problem I had was with it not falling when the serving holding the cord to my cable slipped, a quick fix and functions great. Its easy to operate and very reliable. Highly recommend

I really like my Ripcords . I own 2 of these rests and cant say enough about them. I prefer them to the Trophy Taker rests, MBG Trap Door, WB and a prong rest I have shot in the past. I would recomend them to anyone. I dont even have to tie mine in the cable, they give you a littile clasp like a football to attatch the cord to he buss cable makes instilation and timeing the rest a breeze!
