Here are the Duravanes I fletched up last night I was tellin ya about. I was very impressed with the DuraVane adhesive and vanes. All worked very well and I only blew one vane just cuz I put too much glue and it stuck to the clamp. I liked the way they went flush in the clamp and stuck compaired to the 1/8" I have to stick out the Blazers out of the jig to adhear. The 6 sm vanes on the left are the 1.8" Stingers they vary in weight due to colors(check website), and the 6 on the right are the 2.3" 3D dura vanes 3.6 gr(all colors). I will see how they shoot tomorrow morning but I am very impressed and think they may diserve a shoot out with the Blazers for my Archery dollars . www.duravanes.com/index.html

Yes Ted the Stingers are ridgid like the Blazers. They look very firm like a blazer and look like they could take a beating and keep coming back for more. too bad they only come in 1.8" sz now and I might have to look into the Predators , Norways Version of the Blazer vane. But they dont come in my standard colors I am using yet! Maybe next yr they will. www.duravanes.com/Predator.html

Here is a few pics of overlays in the 3 vanes. 1st pic is a 1.8" stinger over a 2" Blazer. And pic 2 is a 2" Blazer over a 2.3" 3D duravane.

I was refering the the ridiculous threads running rampent. stating that stiff vanes cause less blood and lost game.
I am very interested in these vanes. I currently shoot 3" duravanes. I may give the 2.3" 3D a try.
