I made one and the only thing you should really be careful of is filing down the old nock too much. Whenever I shot, the force would push the whole assembly forward instead of just pushing the light on.

I have seen it .... the lighted nocks can be most useful when utilized as a tuning aid. Top notch stuff when you cant make out whats happening through the paper Also very good at showing hand torque

there is another version in which you cut a small piece of dowel as your end stop which you glue in..... i've used these for years to hunt hogs at night in texas!!
