I have the Ultra rest and love it. I haven't had any problems with mine. some of them have had problems, especially in cold weather. I'd put it in the freezer overnight and see if it works. If not, they are really good at sending you a new one. I have the ripcord and it was acting up after a lot of shots. A little re-adjustment and it was fine. I also have the cobra, I like it a lot. It's simple and darn near fool proof. I had a slight problem setting it up. The teflon washer inside was getting pinched. Once i fixed that I have not had any problems. the down side is no micro adjustment hatch marks. I would and do Hunt with all of these rests at different times. Set them up and just keep an eye on how things are working. Don't take it for granted that last month you had vane clearance so you will next month as well. It's mechanical and things can break or shift.

I've got one and love it. To quiet it down for deer season. I just wrap teflon tape (the type used to seal plumbing fittings) around the arms once and it's quiet as a mouse.

I've been shooting the QAD Ultra Rest and love it. Very simple set up. I didn't use the ugly football attachment to the cable, a simple serving works better. No problems at all with this rest. If you shoot hyper speed arrows its an easy adjustment to make it fall faster if you have clearance issues. Company is very user friendly. Plan on hunting with it in about 6 weeks.

Can the Rip cord be adjusted to fall away quicker? A friend's Bowtech is too fast as it is now.

These are some of the things I like about the MZE: 1) No cord (and you won't break the arm on a branch or anything like that) 2) No springs (the bow FORCES the rest out of the way) 3) 3 moving parts (including the cable slide) 4) PROGRESSIVE rise. starts moving as soon as you start drawing...not all at once right at the end of the draw cycle 5) unless you dunk it in a lake then hang it out to freeze, it won't freeze up. I've only shot up to 310fps so far...and have NO problems. The Mathews version I would think could shoot at ANY speed.
