I installed the STS system on my Carrera. I've been hearing a lot about this and was curious. I can't afford a new bow so I've decided to make mine as quiet as possible. BELIEVE ALL THE HYPE YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ! Not only did I get rid of noise but I also got rid of any vibration left. I normally shoot with an armguard on but I've heard you don't need it with STS... so I bit. My string doesn't even come close to hitting my arm ! I'm really impressed with this. Don't know if I've gained any speed - no chrono. The noise reduction and lack of string slap is worth it even if I don't gain any speed. Here's a picture of what my Carrera looks like now.

I have an STS on my Outback. Noise wise I don't think it does anything at all, but the Outback is quiet to begin with. The OB is pretty much vibration free to begin with, but it id help a little more in that department. My fps stayed exactly the same. No loss as some were worried about. The biggest improvemrnt I have found, is I like the way the bow handles with the added, low, rearward weight.

I took mine off my OG. It started to spit the rubber stopper. I also would see an occasional corkscrewing arrow and I could not figure out why, I took the STS off and I haven't had one since. I don't know what it did and why it would only do it sometimes but I took it off, and I don't miss it. It works for a lot off folks, so have fun, but not for me

I took mine off my OG. It started to spit the rubber stopper. I'm not advocating for it, since I have not tested it. But, if the stopper was splitting, it would seem like one of a few things. 1) not enough space between the stopper and string. there is supposed to be a sliver of space. 2) it was the other stopper material which was not as absorbant I believe. 3) Your tiller is off and the string is not hitting the stopper square. 4) Your bow is just too fast and you need to shoot something slower so it does not generate so much power. ;D
