I LOVE this bow!!! It fits perfectly in my hand and has a barely audible thump. I'm suspecting many critters wil fall to this. Woods are: yew over bamboo on limbs, riser is cocobolo and yew with a maple accent stripe. I like the yew because it changes color depending on the light around it. Cool stuff!

That is a very nice looking bow! Very nice! A comfortable feel contributes more than a lot of folks realize.
What arrow are you shooting out of it?

Also - what is the brace height, and could you post an unstrung side photo??? Lets see, what is the width of the tip at the nock cut? Thanks!

Whoa!! I have a lot of questions,LOL!
BT: I am drawing 27 1/4, but my perfect form makes it look like more, HAHAHHAHA!!! I have not tried the Helms Deep yet, but it's a very cool looking bow, comparable to a Shrew Lil'Favorite. Going to watch my daughter take a hog this year thanks to Bowman, Tracey, Larry and HYH. I've been out small game hunting but our winter has been weird for movement. 2nd snowiest on record I think. I have missed a couple squirrels.. DOH!! Been mainly scouting and stump shooting.
SMJ: I totaly agree, if a bow feels comfortable in your hand than factors like speed are not as important to me. I'd pay more for a slower bow that feels right, over one that shoots fast and has a stinky grip. I'm using a 2018 flu-flu with 145 grain Zwickey Kondor up front. It has that orange colored aluminum(Autumn orange I think?) I thought for sure a 2018 would be too stiff but this bow spits it out just fine. The brace height is best at 7 3/8's. I can get a side pic for ya, it has a very slight R/D. The limb tip is roughly 1/2 wide at the nock.
