well all good things have to come to an end. I am hunting this afternoon, the last day of the late CT season. I started in this very spot 9-16 this year and took a nice 123" 8pt. I'm giving it 1 last go with the longbow today. I am going to use a 145grain Zwickey 2 blade, 100grain brass insert on top of a 29" Beeman MFX 400. This flys like a laser and should get the job done........given the chance. wish me luck!

well, I sat until dark in 17 degree weather and saw no deer. Man, it was a bust but I'm glad i went. It was a great day to end the season on. Now I can actually have a bit of a life! hahah
I had a great season taking my first deer with a rifle and my second with the longbow. I took a great 8pt with my bow and number of does. My first fox fell to an arrow as well. All and all it was a great season for sure

It does sound like you had a great season! Next season will no doubt be here before we know it... It will be fun to see what you come up with for your work bench inbetween!

Sorry to hear that no deer came in to your stand. What a great year of hunting and keep us posted on that bow shop of yours. I would like to know what you think are the best tools for your shop and maybe I could use some of your advise .
