Just lost my first broadhead in my b/h target. They say you can shoot 4 sides!I have been shooting through the many layers and sometimes they are a bear to pull out.Is it better to shoot the side of the target and go with the grain and not against it.I try and shoot the same area because as it gets beat up I can push them through and unscrew them or pull the whole arrow through. The head I lost had the insert pull out.

Nothing to do except go target digging! One of my Morrel Yellow Jackets had to be taken apart to dig out a broadhead. Then you have to glue the sections back together, and hold them with bailing twine until it dries. It's never the same though.

Thanks Spiker,Target digging we went.Got the B/H and found it went back easily using contact cement. Put it on let it dry then you can neal on it and reconnect the corners you pried off

oldfarms, I had much the same problem. I however left the broadhead in the target. Occasionally one of my arrows makes contact and jacks a field point up. On one occasion a Slick Trick met up with the Phat Head and pretty much destroyed the blades. Oh well that target is at the end of its use anyhow.
