This years shootout will be with the aid of a Crossbow for the simply reason that it allows me to eliminate the human error side of the testing. The heads to be tested will be the Passing heads and so flight is already established. One of the tests will focus on an 80 yard grouping and although I am good....I am not that good The fact that the energy loss of the crossbow at that distance wont play into it as the bolts will be stuffed for down range performance. I have the facility's to utilize the crossbow and it seems to be the best bow for the job in this case where a 100 or more shots will be fired over the course of a day. Just thought you crossbow guys would like to know that you are finally going to get some props for your equipment here finally

What's the tuning process going to consist of as far as FP's to BH's? Established heads? Several established heads? Or each head individually tuned?

The crossbow is already tuned and it will shoot a Magnus stinger as well as a Montec out to 40yrds.
The string is marked to insure proper center on each bolt each time so that there is no variable there.
