I was just looking over last years big game threads and it was really a heck of a year for this forum 
I didn't realize it at the time or I just forgot but one thing is for sure!.....this sites members did a whole lot more posting of successes and stories than sites that are 4 & 5X's this size
Just points to the fact that we have a collection of above average hunters here
(at least thats how I am reading it
)
Reading back over some of these threads has got the juices flowing a bit faster and I am sure ready to hear of more successes this coming season
As I remember we only had three wound threads last year that resulted in a non-recovery
Hopefully we can keep that level of success this year.
With the addition of people who have given their numbers for assistance in the field (bloodtrails section) perhaps we can even reduce it further
(Thats asking alot but you never know
)
As I have said in the past.....Wounding threads are encouraged here.
I don't mean to say that I encourage wounding
I am saying that if you have a story or current dilemma ,Please post it!
It happens and everyone wants to and generally can help
There is a thread here in which it is stated that if you bash someone over a wound thread you are history
That still goes (for any new comers) because nobody learns anything or is helped in anyway by being told that they are to blame
That doest need to be pointed out
the vast majority of people are sick when it happens to them and don't need smart ass remarks to feel even worse 
What I would expect of everyone is an honest effort to help by offering suggestions and an ear to listen to the one who need it
Anyway...It's getting closer and I'm wishing everyone the very best for their success in '07
