State of readiness?

I'm ready...........but I'm never ready until the day actually gets here. there are always things to change/tweak or replace and you can never practice to much! If you told me I could hunt tomorrow I'd have a deer down by 9am though!

Equipment is ready to go........now we wait for Labor Day week-end to hang our early bow stands. It has been tradition the last several years to hang the early stands over Labor Day. (30 days prior to the opener) As the season progresses we add stands as necessary.

My drenalin has nothing on what I am feeling today. Tomarrow evening I will be perched in a pine tree over looking a bean feild. All of my stuff is ready and packed away in my scent free tote. I shot my bow yesterday and at 70yds I had 2 arrows in the heart and one in the lungs with 3 shots. I went to 30 and touched all my arrows. I am pumped. I am going to try to take pictures of the deer before I shoot it if one gives me the oppertunity. Thank goodness deer season is here.
