Got my first and only deer so far last year on opening day of gun season about 10 am. After haveing 2 does walk behind me I turned around and had my back to a 200 acre field (guess there lol) and was looking at the trail these 2 does had walked in on, then I peeked over my shoulder and saw a deer running at my back, so spun around (he was about 50 yards away, the does were about 10 feet) and raised my gun and that ended my first ever deer season.

Killed one my second season. Randy and i were walking out of the woods and a spiker chased a doe right to us. I drew on the doe and he drew on the spike. the doe turned away and I swung onto the spike(not knowing Randy had already drawn) and released. our arrows crossed in mid air and both hit the spind at the same time. it was pretty cool!
