O.K.....so after this last dilemma I suffered , I am wondering what others out there are using to kill their own odor before they go hunting. I know dead down wind is about the same thing as the Robinson labs no scent that I generally use but to tell the truth....there is still an ability for me to build a good smell after climbing a tree. I use the Wildlife Scent Killer stick deodorant and that works well....very well. Does anyone else use the speed stick?. There is a mineral that you can ingest and for the life of me I cant remember what it is It is common in the drug stores but I haven't used it and I am thinking it might be time to investigate this option.

I've found that you have to play the wind. You can shower in scent free soap, scent lock clothes, sprays, etc. ....if there down wind, your busted

I tried the chlorophyll thing for a while. It does seem to help with certain internal body odors and it turns your poo green. I'm just can't remember to take them everyday.

I usually start taking chlorophyll pills about a month before the season starts. Not really sure if it helps but I do it any how. They make the wips soaked in the scent control solution..Dead Down Wind has them as well as Hunter's Speciality. They are pretty handy and are great for a field shower. I have been using the Dead Down Wind Product for the last two years. The mouth spray, Toothpaste, soap, don't need shampoo and of course the after wash foam. I wash the towels in the landry soap and put them in a large zip lock. Then use the deoderant. For clothing I use the Medalist shirts and lastly I use the scent lok pants and jacket if it is cool enough. Does it all work?!! Well for the most part I think so but after all that I have been busted once or twice. But then again I have had several deer down wind that would have normally winded me not pay me or my scent any mind. If it does not work, I was not for the lack of trying.

I also use the field spray by dead down wind. I was using "dead down wind" and my buddy and I were joking..."If there down wind, your dead!" ;D

I use dead down wind spray and wash all my gear in it too. I keep all my stuff in rubbermaid containers and never wear it other than in the woods........same with my boots. I change where I park.
I also like to get 20-30+ feet up. that helps tons. playing the wind is your best bet, but around here you never know where the deer are coming or going from. they really have no defined pattern in most spots.

I use gum-o-flage chewing gum for my breath, Hunter's Specialties Shampoo and bar soap for showering and Sport Wash for my clothes.
If I don't have the Sport Wash I use "Free and Clear". It is a generic unscented laundry detergent. It's cheap and I have had good success with it in past years.
I also use speed Stick "unscented" deoderant.
I also spray Buck Bomb on my boots as a cover scent/ attractent
