Just wondered what everyone else does when they are not shooting/hunting? Other hobbies other than work and trying to get better with a bow. Me, I race ATV's and like to play golf. I know, weird combination but it keeps me sane, if there is such thing. Golf is alot like bow hunting, gotta be consistent, concentrate, etc. ATV racing.... well thats just pin it, go and hope you dont screw up. Great stress reliever. I was travelling 4 days a week, but just changed jobs so will have more time for both shooting and riding. Hoping to get better at both!!

I Race atv's also and I run the 1/4 mile track in my firebird. I use to race street bikes but I figured I would end up dead since I have a bad need for speed. It has caused me to nearly meet my maker a few times already.

Wait a minute........there are other things to do besides shooting and hunting?
.........................oh, of course Fishing!
No, really pretty much all my acyivities revolve around bows and guns and hunting of somekind or practice and preperations for the next season. Maybe some bowfishing or trout in the spring and bass in summer.

Making bows, time on the bicycle, skiing, climbing, motorcycle, fishing... Ah, who am I trying to fool! I spend my spare time at work, or watching my two kids play sports, and otherwise being told what to do by my wife.

I'm an avid reader. I probably go through at least 3 books a month and sometimes as much as a dozen. I also golf (if that's what you want to call what I do on a golf course). ;D ;D

My work is also my "hobby" which is really nice. Been at it for 35 years. (Locksmith) I love anything outdoors and spend a lot of time just walking through the woods scouting. Of course I also spend a lot of time shooting my bow and enjoying "shooting contests" with friends. I love bow hunting and do it from October until ?. Season ends here end of Jan so I have a long time to do it. Just can't take the cold temps any more like I use to. I also shoot rifle, muzzle loader and handgun and do a lot of target shooting when I can as well as long distance "varmint" hunting. I fish day and night when I have a chance. Love fishing by light at night for catfish and do a lot of trout fishing when it's in season. I'm also a long time avid bowler, bowl league every year and usually bowl state tournaments every year. I sill average around 200....not bad for an "old guy" I guess. My Number 1 enjoyment is just being out in nature!!

In all honesty, there isn't much that I do as a hobby, that isn't in someway connected to archery or hunting, or 3D. Wehn I have down time, I am ussually either on the computer, hitting all the hunting/archery forums, or reading, which is another passion of mine.

My other passion is bird hunting........I've had bird dogs for almost 20 years. Nothing better than a dog on point! Best of the best is Grouse hunting, Phesant second, Quail third.
I've had Setters, Shorthairs and my current dog is a female English Pointer. The hard part is stepping out of the deer stand the third week of October to go to Wisconsin for our annual Grouse trip, but I do. Then the first week-end in December we go to Iowa to Phesant hunt, and wrap up the year by hunting Indiana Quail.

Chase kids all over town, help the neighbors, put in a lawn, work in the basement on stuff I should have done about 2 years ago. I like to golf, fish, go to watch the races, but can't afford that anymore remember I have kids, house to work on etc............
Oh and what one of the others said ......... My wife gives me a hunny do list.
