BT, what draw length is the Kobalt set at? Currently it is at 28" but goes down to 25(?) I think

It should be around 250 - 255fps at 25" I would expect

It is sweet....no joke. That's coming from someone who only cares about speed too. This bow was the exception to the rule

It is sweet....no joke. That's coming from someone who only cares about speed too. This bow was the exception to the rule I think this bow will suit you much better in the woods than your BK did. I think too many pf your problems stemmed from owning a bow that you could shoot well under target condidtions but was just too "finicky" under the pressure of hunting shots
