Well after lots of consideration, I called Elite today and talked to them and one of their premier dealers in Ohio. The concensus was (at my draw length of 27.5) that the bow that would give the most in speed/smoothness is the Fire. I ordered one in all black. I plan on finishing it out with a limbdriver, black 6 inch Stealth with the carbon fiber finish, and Stealth Twilight Hunter 3rd plan...also in black. Gripwerks is going to make a black Tiger Maple grip. Only picture on the site is in red, but it gives you an idea. Should be all ready in about 2 weeks. He has one set up at the shop with a 26 inch draw getting 298 with IBO arrow, so I should be able to break the 300 mark fairly easy. That will be at least 29 feet faster than my Switchback.

Here is the spec page from the site. As you can see, I saved some weight over the GTO and the draw should be smoother and also faster at my dl.

If you dont have this link....you might want it www.elitearchery.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4There is a thread here that says a few fire models have exploded....one guy died when a shaft of graphite from the upper limb took out his windpipe. The thread is locked but it's at the top.
