I'm having mental issues and I had my bow tuned 3 times. shot it a day later and thought it could be better, screwed it all up and put it back. I have no problem keeping them on the electrical tape at 40yds but the 3" circle was screwing me up. I get that way on spots sometimes. I'm making sure tomorrow by shooting the tape and not touching it again.

My Votto experience has passed I had a slight case of TP, but shooting the lines helped as oppose to shooting spots. I worked my way through it. It was really me just screwing with my mind because I got a little last minute pre-season jitters. Now I'm Locked C ocked and ready to Rock, Doc. I re-tuned again today(in the rain) out to 45yds and everything is good. The turbos are with my fp's at 45yds. The montecs are tracking a little off at that range but I think it's just how the head is with my set up. The FP's are centered in a 1/2 line of tape from 5-45yds so I know the tune is good. The montecs fly GREAT until I hit 35, then they fly good.

That is the general experience out there with the Montecs. Montecs are still great heads and if we are talking 2" @ 45yrds. thats hardly an issue since the fact of the matter is if 2" is going to be the difference of kill or wound , you shouldn't be shooting that far anyway I do understand the mental thing behind it though.

i went shooting yestersday, and i was shooting WAAAAAAAAAAAY high. i was about to adjust my sights when i stopped and thoughmaybe it was just me. so i took the next shot like it was worth a million bucks. everything relaxed and it was back to dead on. I tried to make it shoot high again and i was able to achieve it by gripping the bow even after the shot. Note to self: relax my bow hand on the grip, lol I hope when mr elk makes an appearance i dont tense up to bad, lol. OMG, 2 more sleeps

After the season you might want to try a high wrist method Bigbore.
Makes it impossible to torque or grip the bow.

Well I screwed up again. I was tuned to perfection and I wanted to go over all the bolts and tighten them down............I stripped part of the rest that adjusts windage...... gonna get a new one tonight and replace that half of it. there are hatch marks so it shouldn't take long to get back on............man I'm a dumb a$$
